In 2011, Manulife Real Estate, the real estate investment and management arm of Manulife Financial, extended to investors the benefit of its more than 60-year history of direct ownership, development and active management of commercial real estate with the formation of a new real estate fund platform, Manulife Real Estate Funds, and the launch of its first two real estate funds:

• Manulife Canadian Property Portfolio
• Manulife Canadian Real Estate Investment Fund

These funds are open-end income producing real estate investments with a strategy that targets a stable flow of income and low volatility as well as long term capital growth through investments in Canadian commercial real estate managed by Manulife Real Estate.
