Manulife-Sinochem upgrades VIP Customer Service with International SOS

Shanghai - VIP customers from China-based joint venture insurance provider Manulife-Sinochem will now be eligible for up to US$1 million in emergency medical and travel assistance, following the expansion of MSL’s collaboration with the world's leading aid agency, International SOS.

International SOS is the top provider of medical assistance and international health care in the world, with over 6,000 professionals operating in 70 countries. The service is available to Manulife-Sinochem customers with yearly premiums of over RMB 30,000 who have upgraded to VIP status.

From January 1st, 2010, eligible customers can receive global travel aid and medical rescue services including professional medical care or medical advice by telephone to help with any health issues that arise overseas, and emergency medical evacuation if needed. International SOS also provides non-medical travel assistance such as consulate information, help with lost luggage or passports, and translation services.
