Toronto - Manulife Financial Corporation will release its year-end financial results on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at approximately 11:00 a.m. [ET], followed by a live webcast of the quarterly conference call with analysts beginning at 2:00 p.m. [ET].

The one-hour webcast will feature presentations by Dominic D’Alessandro, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Peter Rubenovitch, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

The presentation material to be referenced during the call will be posted on the Manulife Financial Web site and available for download at approximately 12:00 p.m. [ET] following the release of the year-end results.
