Ho Chi Minh City– Manulife today announced the introduction of Savings Care Plan, designed for customers with short-term saving goals and life insurance protection needs for themselves and their loved ones. Savings Care Plan is a six-year participating savings plan together with a unique six-year guaranteed Medicash coverage period, offering flexible hospital benefits and a number of additional guaranteed benefits.

“This is the ideal solution for those who prefer short-term savings and high protection,” said David Matthews, General Director. “Savings Care Plan offers all the regular features of a basic endowment plan, with added benefits including guaranteed cash values, 200% sum assured for accidental death, and flexible Medicash. The unique advantage of Savings Care Plan is the built-in Medicash benefits – customers do not have to undergo re-underwriting procedures every year to maintain coverage. Once the policy is issued, Medicash is guaranteed throughout the policy term.”

This enhanced savings plan is suitable for both the young and old. Young adults at the start of their careers can take advantage of their good health and secure a basic protection plan for today. Aging Vietnamese will benefit from the plan by securing healthcare costs in the event of hospitalization. Another advantage of Savings Care plan is the Value Preservation Option, which will protect the policyholder’s hard-earned money against inflation.
