Toronto– John DesPrez III, President and Chief Executive Officer of John Hancock Financial Services, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Manulife Financial, will present at the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) 2005 Insurance Conference in New York on Tuesday, November 15, 2005.

At 12:20 p.m. ET, Mr. DesPrez will provide a brief overview of Manulife, followed by a more detailed review of the U.S. operations, including current market positioning and future growth opportunities. He will also discuss some of the financial and strategic benefits arising from the John Hancock transaction, particularly in relation to the U.S. operations.
