Customized views, educational content, and interactive tools for financial advisers and individual investors available at www.jhannuities.com

Boston– John Hancock Annuities today launched its brand new website, www.jhannuities.com. The completely redesigned, content-rich site features both retirement and investment education along with interactive tools and expanded services for financial advisers.

Public Home Page
Features on the individual investor client site include a “What’s Your Number” calculator, which is a quick and easy way to determine if an investor has enough money to cover fixed expenses in retirement. Clients will also find a tour of Lifestyle Portfolios that reviews the “emotional roller coaster” of investing. In the new“Learning Center,” clients will find articles and interactive modules designed to educate and assist them with retirement, investment, and annuity concepts.

Adviser Center
Advisers will now have access to “My Tracked Portfolios,” which enables them to personalize and track favorite John Hancock Annuities portfolios on their home page.

In “Sales Resources,” financial advisers will have access to Wood Logan Academy, John Hancock Annuities’ proprietary Continuing Education (CE) program where they can look up their individual state’s continuing education requirements and view courses offered by John Hancock. Advisers can also access John Hancock’s Special Markets team from this section, for assistance with more complex financial planning situations.

Contract Status
Advisers and clients will find their contract details more organized and easier to locate. The contract detail will allow advisers to view and track the status of their incoming 1035 exchanges, transfers, and rollovers.

Forms Wizard
This section of the web site is designed to help financial advisers access the appropriate forms for their state, product, and specific Broker/Dealer. Through a series of pre-programmed questions, advisers will be directed to the appropriate form(s) necessary for their particular business case reducing the chance of wrong form selection.

Funds and Performance
In this area, investors will find individual fund and performance information such as holdings, fees, management biographies, and commentaries. The performance section includes both standardized and non-standardized views of portfolio performance that can be sorted based on preference. Design and navigation elements have been added to make easier to view numbers at-a-glance.
