Investor Day, Sept. 12, 2006 - Asia

On September 12, 2006, Manulife Financial will host an Investor Conference in Tokyo, Japan for the institutional investment community. The Conference will feature Manulife’s Asia and Japan operations, with senior management teams presenting an overview of the Division’s operations and strategies for growth.

This event will be webcast starting at 9:00 a.m. local (Tokyo) time on September 12, 2006, or 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (E.S.T.) on September 11, 2006.
